Setup, Compatibility & Care
Start your seeds in a warm, bright indoor environment to encourage strong seedling development. Once the risk of frost has passed, carefully acclimatise the plants over 7-10 days by gradually increasing their exposure to outdoor temperatures. Plant them in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. During the growing season, pinch out side-shoots if you are training the plant as a single-stem cordon to maximize fruit production. Regularly monitor for pests like aphids and ensure the plants are fed with a high-potash tomato fertilizer once the first fruits begin to set.
