Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin, sow seeds on the surface of good, free-draining seed compost from late winter to spring. Keep the compost moist but not saturated, and place the container in a sealed polythene bag to maintain humidity. Keep the temperature between 21-24C and ensure the seeds have access to light, as this is essential for germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and grow them in cooler conditions. Acclimatize the plants gradually over 10-15 days before moving them to a permanent sunny or semi-shaded location once the frost risk has completely passed.
