The DeWalt DCD999T1 Hammer Drill Driver is part of the Dewalt FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE range, featuring an upgraded brushless motor and electronic module designed to deliver maximum power when used with XR FLEXVOLT batteries. This 18V drill boasts an improved brushless motor, electronics, and components for extended durability, efficiency, and power, delivering 112Nm and 1219w (using 6Ah). The software identifies the battery pack and draws more current from Flexvolt packs to deliver more power. It features a 3-speed all-metal gearbox designed to withstand increased torque, an extended handle with a metal collar for managing torque, and a 3-position LED torch with a 20-minute delay. The electronic clutch has 11 adjustable torque control positions for precision screw driving, and a 13mm ratcheting keyless chuck with automatic spindle lock for fast bit changes. Additional features include a steel belt hook and magnetic bit holder for strong storage solutions. The drill is designed to handle increased current, with software identifying the battery and drawing higher current from Flexvolt packs. It also has an improved side handle with a metal collar for durability. Suitable for general building contractors, electrical, mechanical, engineering, plumbers, and agriculture.
