Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the monitor, stand components, and accessories from the packaging.
- Assemble Stand: Attach the monitor to the stand base following the included quick start guide. No tools are typically required.
- Connect Cables: Plug the power cable into the monitor and a power outlet. Connect your computer or device using an HDMI cable. Ensure the cable supports the desired refresh rate (e.g., HDMI 2.0 for 144Hz).
- Power On: Turn on the monitor using the power button, usually located on the rear or underside. Then, power on your connected device.
- Adjust Settings: Use the monitor's on-screen display (OSD) menu to select the input source and adjust picture settings like brightness, contrast, and refresh rate. Ensure your computer's display settings are configured to match the monitor's capabilities (e.g., 1920x1080 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate).
Compatibility
The Dell SE2726H is compatible with any computer or device equipped with an HDMI output port. For optimal performance, especially to achieve the 144Hz refresh rate, ensure your graphics card and the connected cable support this specification. AMD FreeSync is compatible with AMD Radeon graphics cards; NVIDIA users may be able to enable G-Sync Compatible mode via their control panel settings, though compatibility is not guaranteed.
Care
- Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or an approved screen cleaner. Never spray liquid directly onto the screen.
- Cleaning the Body: Wipe the monitor's frame and stand with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
- Ventilation: Ensure the monitor's ventilation slots are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Power: Use only the provided power adapter and cable.
