Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
This electric fireplace offers three primary installation methods:
- Recessed Installation: Prepare a wall opening according to the dimensions provided in your product manual. Carefully slide the fireplace into the opening, securing it with the specified brackets and screws.
- Wall-Mounted Installation: Identify a sturdy wall stud. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall, ensuring it's level. Carefully lift and hang the fireplace onto the bracket. *Info needed: Specific weight and mounting hardware requirements.*
- Freestanding Installation: Attach the included stand or base holders to the bottom of the fireplace. Place the unit on a stable, level surface.
Always ensure the unit is connected to a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Compatibility
- Electrical: Requires a standard 120V AC household electrical outlet. Ensure the circuit can handle the fireplace's wattage. *Info needed: Specific wattage/amperage.*
- Space: Suitable for rooms requiring a 50-inch wide visual element. Consider wall space or floor space availability based on your chosen installation method.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning the Glass Panel: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the tempered glass panel. For stubborn marks, a mild glass cleaner can be used, applied to the cloth first, not directly to the glass. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Maintaining the Fuel Bed: Periodically remove the crystals or faux logs to dust them. Ensure they are placed back correctly to maintain the desired aesthetic.
- General Cleaning: Dust the exterior of the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Ensure all vents are clear of obstructions to maintain proper airflow.
- Storage: If storing the unit, ensure it is completely unplugged and kept in a dry, safe place away from extreme temperatures.
