Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Gather the supplied bolts and the necessary tools (usually a hex key). Clean the mounting area on your bike frame.
- Mounting: Align the mudguard with the pre-drilled holes on your bike and attach it using the bolts provided.
- Adjustment: Use the tilt brackets (if applicable) to fine-tune the angle of the mudguard for optimal coverage.
- Tightening: Ensure all bolts are securely tightened.
Compatibility
The ProGuard Bolt On Mini Mudguards are designed for direct mounting. Verify compatibility with your bike frame before installation. Ensure that your frame has the appropriate mounting points. Consider the wheel size and tire clearance to ensure the mudguard fits properly.
Care
Clean the mudguard regularly with soap and water to remove any dirt or debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. Check the bolts periodically to ensure they remain tight.
