Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
To install, unroll the runner and position it correctly on your staircase. For safety and to prevent movement, it is recommended to secure the runner using double-sided carpet tape or appropriate stair gripper rods. Ensure the runner lies flat and taut.
Compatibility:
This runner is designed for most standard indoor and outdoor staircases. Its 2mm flatweave construction makes it suitable for stairs where a thicker pile might interfere with door clearances or landings. It is compatible with various stair materials, including wood, tile, and concrete.
Care:
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills or stains, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbing.
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly to remove dust and debris. A regular vacuum cleaner without a beater bar is recommended for the flatweave construction.
- Deep Cleaning: For a more thorough clean, use a mild soap solution with water and a soft brush. Rinse with clean water and allow to air dry completely. Ensure the runner is fully dry before placing it back on stairs to prevent mold or mildew.
- Reversing: To reverse the runner, carefully remove it from the stairs, flip it over, and re-secure it.
