Troubleshooting

Suspension feels harsh or unresponsive

Check your air pressure against the manufacturer recommended sag settings and ensure your rebound is not set too slow.

Brakes feel spongy or have inconsistent bite

Perform a hydraulic brake bleed to remove any trapped air from the lines.

Excessive drivetrain noise or ghost shifting

Inspect the derailleur hanger for alignment and check the cable tension for the Shimano Deore shifter.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure peak performance, begin by setting the sag on your RockShox suspension according to your rider weight. Ensure the Shimano Deore drivetrain is indexed correctly after the initial break-in period to maintain crisp shifting. The UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) simplifies sourcing replacement parts if damaged. For care, keep the suspension stanchions clean from debris and perform standard hydraulic brake bleeds annually. Always check the pivot bolts and flip-chip hardware for proper torque before heading out on long rides, as these components are critical to the frame's structural integrity and handling characteristics.
