Setup, Compatibility & Care
Sowing: Sow seeds indoors or directly outdoors after the last frost. For indoor sowing, use seed trays filled with seed compost and sow at a depth of 6 mm. Keep moist and warm (around 18-21°C).
Transplanting: Once seedlings are large enough to handle (usually when they have their first true leaves), transplant them into individual pots. Gradually acclimatize them to outdoor conditions before planting them in their final growing position.
Location: Choose a sunny, sheltered spot. These seeds are bred for outdoor growing, so ensure they receive at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day.
Soil: Plant in well-drained soil. If planting in pots, use a good quality potting mix.
Watering: Water regularly, especially during dry spells, ensuring the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged.
Support: As plants grow, they may require staking or support, especially when laden with fruit.
Compatibility: Suitable for pots, patios, raised beds, and small gardens. Designed for outdoor cultivation.
