The Finery London Mae Ponte Midi Skirt is designed for adults seeking a versatile, high-waisted wardrobe staple that bridges the gap between professional executive attire and casual weekend wear. Its key benefit lies in its flattering A-line silhouette combined with an internal elasticated waistband, offering a sophisticated look without sacrificing comfort; however, potential buyers should note that the semi-fitted nature requires careful pairing with seasonal layers to maintain the desired aesthetic.

The skirt is made from Ponte fabric, known for its double-knit construction, providing a thick, structured feel with built-in stretch.
No, the elasticated waistband is internal, keeping the exterior look clean and polished.
While Ponte is durable, we recommend a gentle machine cycle or hand wash to protect the integrity of the top-stitch detailing.
Yes, the A-line silhouette provides enough room to tuck in medium-weight tops, though very bulky knits may bunch.
This model is a UK size 8, designed with a semi-fitted silhouette.
Hang the skirt in a humid environment (like a bathroom) or use a low-heat garment steamer to release wrinkles.
Ensure the skirt is positioned at the natural narrowest part of your waist to prevent the elastic from digging in.
To keep your Finery London skirt looking its best, always consult the internal care label for specific temperature settings. Due to the Ponte fabric composition, it is recommended to wash the garment on a gentle cycle to preserve the seam detailing. When styling, the skirt is highly compatible with form-fitting tops that emphasize the high waist, though it also functions well with oversized knitwear that can be partially tucked. Store the skirt on a proper hanger to prevent creasing and to ensure the elasticated waistband maintains its tension.
