Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Setting Time: Pull the crown out to the second click. Turn the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in when the time is set.
- Setting Date: Pull the crown out to the first click. Turn the crown to set the desired date. Push the crown back in. Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- Bracelet Adjustment: For optimal comfort, the stainless steel bracelet may need adjustment. This usually involves adding or removing links. It is recommended to have this done by a professional jeweler or watch specialist.
Compatibility
This analogue timepiece is universally compatible with any user who appreciates classic design and reliable timekeeping. Its timeless aesthetic pairs well with a wide range of personal styles and occasions.
Care
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and oils. For stubborn grime, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring to dry thoroughly afterward.
- Water Resistance: While water resistant to 50 meters, avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or high-pressure water jets (e.g., from a power washer) as this can compromise the seals. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before contact with water.
- Impact Protection: The acrylic glass, while durable, can scratch with sufficient impact. Avoid dropping the watch or subjecting it to harsh blows.
- Chemicals: Keep the watch away from solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetics, as these can damage the watch's finishes and seals.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for prolonged periods, as this can affect battery life and lubrication.
