FAQs

What is the roll size and coverage?

Each roll measures approximately 10.05 meters in length and 53 cm in width, covering about 5.25 square meters (57 sq.ft).

What type of adhesive should I use?

This is a 'Paste The Paper' wallpaper, so you will need a standard wallpaper adhesive suitable for this type of application. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions for mixing and application.

Can this wallpaper be used in a child's bedroom?

Yes, this wallpaper is specifically designed for bedrooms, nurseries, and child-focused spaces. Its extra washable surface makes it practical for these areas.

How do I clean the wallpaper?

The extra washable surface allows for gentle cleaning. Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe away minor marks. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive water.

What does '64/32cm Offset Match' mean?

This refers to the pattern repeat. For every 64cm vertically, the pattern matches. However, on alternate drops (every 32cm), you will need to offset the pattern to achieve a seamless look. This means you'll trim away part of the pattern on one edge of the strip before hanging the next.

Is this wallpaper peelable?

Yes, this wallpaper is peelable, which means it can be removed more easily when you decide to redecorate.

What is 'Good Lightfastness'?

Good lightfastness indicates that the wallpaper is designed to resist fading when exposed to sunlight over time, helping the colors and pattern remain vibrant.

Troubleshooting

Bubbles or creases appearing after application

Gently lift the affected section and smooth it down with a clean, soft brush or roller, working from the center outwards. Ensure the paste was applied evenly and there were no dried patches on the wall before hanging.

Wallpaper not sticking properly

Check that the correct type and amount of wallpaper adhesive were used and applied evenly to the paper. Ensure the wall surface was clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Allow adequate booking time for the paste.

Pattern does not align correctly

Ensure you are following the 'Offset Match' instruction (64/32cm). Overlap the strips slightly at the seam and use a spirit level to ensure the first strip is perfectly vertical. Adjustment may be needed during application.

Color variation between rolls

This can occur if rolls are from different batches. Always order sufficient rolls for your project at one time, as batch numbers are not guaranteed to be the same on subsequent orders.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: This wallpaper uses the 'Paste The Paper' method. Ensure you have the correct wallpaper adhesive suitable for paste the paper wallpapers. Apply the adhesive evenly to the back of the wallpaper strips. Allow a short booking time as per adhesive instructions before hanging. Use a sharp blade for trimming excess at edges and corners.

Compatibility: Ideal for dry interior walls in bedrooms, nurseries, children's rooms, dressing areas, and guest rooms. It is not recommended for high-moisture areas like bathrooms or kitchens unless specifically stated otherwise by the manufacturer for a particular variant, which this is not.

Care: The wallpaper features an extra washable surface. Minor marks and splashes can be cleaned by gently wiping with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this can damage the paper finish.
