Full details

The Sanicat Clumping White Active cat litter is designed for cat owners seeking superior odor control and easy cleanup. Its key benefit is the ultra-clumping formula combined with Active Oxygen technology for enhanced freshness. FAQs

How often should I change the litter completely?

A full litter change and tray clean is recommended every 2-3 weeks, depending on usage and environmental factors. Daily scooping of clumps and waste is essential.

Is this litter safe if my cat ingests some of it?

Sanicat Clumping White Active is made from natural minerals and is generally safe if small amounts are ingested incidentally. However, it is not intended as a food source, and excessive ingestion should be avoided. Monitor your cat and consult a veterinarian if you have concerns.

Can I flush this clumping litter?

No, this is a clumping litter and should not be flushed down the toilet as it can cause plumbing blockages. Dispose of clumps and waste in a household bin.

How does Active Oxygen technology work?

Active Oxygen harnesses the power of natural oxygenation to neutralize and break down odor molecules, rather than just masking them, providing a more effective and continuous freshness.

What is the scent of this litter?

This litter has a Marseille soap scent, designed to provide a continuous freshness to your home.

Is this litter suitable for kittens?

Yes, the natural mineral composition is gentle on paws, and the low dust emission makes it suitable for kittens and cats with sensitive respiratory systems.

Troubleshooting

Litter is not clumping effectively.

Ensure the litter depth is at least 5 cm (2 inches). If clumps are breaking, try adding a small amount of fresh litter to the soiled area before scooping.

Unpleasant odors persist.

Scoop waste daily. Ensure the litter tray is completely emptied and cleaned every 2-3 weeks. Check that the Active Oxygen technology is not being inhibited by excessive moisture or waste.

Cat is avoiding the litter box.

Ensure the litter box is clean and placed in a private, accessible location. The Marseille soap scent might be too strong for some cats; consider trying an unscented clumping litter if this is suspected.

Excessive dust when pouring or scooping.

Pour the litter gently and slowly. While this product has low dust emissions, some dust can occur. Ensure good ventilation in the room.
