These 25mm carpet tacks are essential for DIY enthusiasts and professionals seeking a secure, reliable fixing method for carpet installation, upholstery projects, and woodworking repairs. They offer exceptional holding power and fabric protection thanks to their flat head design, though users should note that the steel construction requires care in humid environments to prevent long-term surface oxidation.

No, these are designed for timber and wood-based subfloors. Concrete surfaces require masonry-specific fasteners.
Yes, the corrosion-resistant finish allows for outdoor use, though they should be kept away from constant direct rain exposure to preserve the finish.
The frequency depends on the tension required, but generally, space them every 2-3 inches for a secure hold along the edges.
It is generally not recommended to reuse tacks, as the removal process often bends the shank or damages the head.
Yes, but they are designed to be discreet. Their silver finish is relatively neutral, and the flat head sits low enough to be easily hidden by carpet pile or upholstery fabric folds.
Ensure you are using a hammer with a smooth face and applying the force directly downward without angling the tack.
Check for obstructions in the timber or ensure the tack is not hitting a nail or screw already embedded in the subfloor.
Use a smaller gauge pilot hole or ensure you are not placing the tack too close to the very edge of the timber grain.
For optimal results, ensure the timber surface is clean and free of debris. When installing, use a light-weight upholstery hammer or a tack hammer to avoid damaging the head finish. These tacks are compatible with all standard wooden subfloors, pine furniture, and plywood backing. For maintenance, keep the tacks in a dry, moisture-controlled container. If you notice any signs of surface residue over time, a quick wipe with a dry cloth is usually sufficient to maintain their appearance and functionality.
