The Metzeler Roadtec 01 Motorcycle Tyre is the leading product for sports touring with safer and longer rides. This tyre has been constructed from an improved compound solution to provide enhanced chemical grip and adhesive properties in all different situations. The compound emphasizes the chemical properties and results more resistant to the wear process. The tyres feature a central stripe which has a balanced mixture of silica and carbon black to enhance high speed stability, heat dispersal and to also provide balance between abrasion resistance and grip. There is also a full silica compound used in the shoulder, which when combined with the tread groove design, delivers excellent grip also on low friction surfaces. The Roadtec 01 is the latest evolution in Metzeler touring tyres, with a focus on enhancing grip on wet and low friction surfaces, increased mileage, and a high degree of adaptability to different motorcycles, riding styles, and conditions. It's the contemporary answer to past and future needs. Key features include a new tread design for enhanced mechanical grip and compounds evolved from the ROADTEC™ Z8 M/O, providing increased confidence and safety. A new profile with a larger and shorter contact patch, combined with improved compounds, ensures an extended product lifecycle and consistent performance.
