Setup, Compatibility & Care
There is no complex setup required; the tool is ready to use immediately out of the packaging. To ensure longevity, always wipe the blades with a clean, dry cloth after every use to remove sap and debris. If the blades become sticky, you may use a light solvent to remove residue before applying a thin layer of machine oil to the pivot point and blades. Store the tool in a dry shed or garage to prevent moisture buildup. Regularly check that the tension bolt is secure, but avoid overtightening, as the blades should move smoothly against one another without significant resistance.
