The divan base requires minimal assembly, mainly connecting the two halves for larger sizes (4FT and above) using provided clips. The headboard can be attached to the base or placed against the wall. Full assembly instructions are included.
This model is a divan base with a solid platform top and a floor-standing headboard, but it does not include built-in storage drawers. Other Somnior Alexas models are available with 2 or 4 drawers, or a footend drawer, which can be found by searching separately.
The solid platform top divan base is compatible with all types of mattresses, including sprung, pocket sprung, memory foam, and hybrid mattresses.
The 54" floor-standing headboard includes fittings to connect directly to the divan base. Alternatively, it can be positioned freestanding against the wall.
Yes, the Alexas Divan Bed Base is also available in Tweed and Linen fabrics. This specific listing is for the Black fabric option.
This product is manufactured in the UK, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
Ensure all sections of the base are securely connected using the provided clips (if applicable). Check that the chrome glides are firmly attached and the base is on a level surface. Tighten any loose fittings for the headboard connection.
Verify that you are using the correct fittings for the Somnior 54" floor-standing headboard. Ensure the base is positioned correctly and that no obstructions are preventing proper alignment. Refer to the assembly instructions for the specific headboard attachment points.
Minor creasing can occur during transit. Gently smooth the fabric with your hands. If persistent, a light steaming from a distance (following fabric care guidelines) may help, but test on an inconspicuous area first.
