FAQs

Is the material machine washable?

No, machine washing is not recommended as it may cause the felt to shrink or lose its shape. Spot cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap is preferred.

Does it work with a gaming mouse?

Yes, the felt surface provides a consistent texture that works well with most modern optical and laser gaming mice.

Can I use it on a glass desk?

Yes, the felt backing has enough grip to stay in place on smooth surfaces like glass or polished wood without sliding.

Does the pad provide non-slip stability?

The dense felt construction provides natural friction against most desk surfaces, helping it remain in place during normal use.

How large are the storage compartments?

The compartments are designed for slim items such as documents, thin notebooks, or ultra-thin laptops. They are not intended for bulky items.

Troubleshooting

The desk pad arrives with creases from shipping

Lay the pad flat on your desk and place a few heavy books on the creased areas for several hours; the felt will gradually relax and flatten.

Mouse tracking feels inconsistent

Check for trapped dust particles within the felt fibers; use a lint roller to clean the surface to ensure a smooth, uniform texture.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Provides excellent cushioned comfort for wrists
Large surface area improves desk organization
High-quality aesthetic fits modern professional environments
Integrated pockets reduce desktop clutter
Lightweight and portable for hybrid workers

Cons

Felt surface can attract dust and lint more easily
Not waterproof; liquid spills require immediate attention
May require occasional grooming to prevent pilling

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Accuratus Felt Desk Pad is simple: unroll the mat on a clean, flat surface and allow it a few moments to lay perfectly level. It is compatible with all standard optical and laser mice. To care for your pad, use a lint roller or a soft-bristled brush to remove dust and crumbs periodically. If a spill occurs, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not saturate the material with water or harsh chemical cleaners, as this may compromise the structural integrity of the felt.
