Mylands Chester Square No.199 Marble Matt Emulsion is a premium, water-based interior paint designed for homeowners and designers seeking a sophisticated, historical aesthetic combined with modern durability. Infused with real crushed Carrara marble, this paint provides a unique texture and a rich, faded olive-green finish that adds depth to any living space. While it offers excellent washability and scuff resistance suitable for high-traffic areas, users should note that the specific light-reflective qualities of the marble infusion may require careful consideration of room lighting to achieve the desired brightness.

Yes, the paint is a low VOC, water-based formulation, making it an environmentally conscious choice for your home.
Simply use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the area. The paint is designed to be washable and resistant to surface-level damage.
Yes, in bright light it appears fresh and vibrant, whereas in darker settings, it maintains a deep, comfortable, and rich tone.
Ensure you are using a high-quality roller and do not over-work the paint; maintain a wet edge throughout the process.
The color is sensitive to light; introduce cooler-toned lighting or contrast it with brighter white elements to enhance the perceived brightness.
Check that the surface is clean, oil-free, and properly primed. Old, glossy paint should be lightly sanded before application.
To achieve the best results, ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of dust or loose debris before application. For new or porous surfaces, use a suitable primer to ensure uniform absorption. Apply using high-quality synthetic brushes or rollers, maintaining a "wet edge" to ensure the marble-infused texture remains consistent across the entire wall. For care and maintenance, the finish is designed to be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can dull the unique marble-enhanced texture over time.
