Full details

The Hydro Flask 28 Oz All Around Tumbler with Straw Lid is designed for active individuals who need reliable temperature control for their beverages on the go. Its key benefit is superior insulation to keep drinks cold or hot for extended periods. A potential caveat is that the Press-In Straw Lid, while convenient, is not leakproof when fully inverted. This tumbler features TempShield™ insulation, a flexible Press-In Straw Lid for easy sipping, a sweat-free exterior, and a durable Color Last™ powder coat.

FAQs

Can I put this tumbler in the dishwasher?

Hand washing is recommended to maintain the integrity of the insulation and the powder coat finish. Dishwashers can be too harsh and may damage the tumbler over time.

Is the Press-In Straw Lid leakproof?

The Press-In Straw Lid is designed for convenience and splash control but is not completely leakproof if the tumbler is turned upside down or shaken vigorously.

How long does it keep drinks cold?

The TempShield™ insulation is designed to keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 6 hours, though actual performance can vary based on ambient temperature and usage.

What if I lose my straw lid?

Replacement Large Press-In Straw Lids and Large Closeable Press-In Lids are available for purchase separately from Hydro Flask or authorized retailers.

Can I put ice cubes in the tumbler?

Yes, you can add ice cubes. Ensure they fit through the straw opening if you intend to drink through the straw, or add them when filling the tumbler before attaching the lid.

What cleaning agents should I avoid?

Avoid using bleach, chlorine, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material and the finish of the tumbler and lid.

Does the powder coat affect the grip?

No, the Color Last™ powder coat is designed to provide a comfortable, sweat-free grip that enhances usability.

Troubleshooting

Tumbler is not keeping drinks as cold/hot as expected.

Ensure the lid is fully pressed down onto the tumbler. Pre-condition the tumbler by filling it with hot water for hot drinks or cold water for cold drinks for a few minutes before adding your beverage. Check that the straw lid is not damaged.

Straw lid is difficult to attach or remove.

Ensure the rim of the tumbler and the inside of the lid are clean and dry. Align the lid carefully before pressing down. If it's stuck, try gently twisting while pulling upwards.

Exterior feels wet or is sweating.

This indicates a breach in the vacuum insulation, which is rare. Contact Hydro Flask customer support. Ensure you are not using harsh chemicals that may have damaged the finish.

Color Last™ powder coat is chipping.

Minor chips may occur with significant wear and tear. Avoid dropping the tumbler or scraping it against hard surfaces. Contact customer support if the chipping is extensive and affects usability.
