The PME CSB125 baking mould is made from durable carbon steel with a non-stick coating.
The mould has 6 individual heart-shaped cavities, allowing you to bake 6 mini cakes simultaneously.
No, this mould is not dishwasher safe. It should be hand washed in warm, soapy water to protect the non-stick coating.
Each inner heart cavity measures approximately 3.4" in height, 3.6" in width, and 0.4" in depth.
It is recommended to use silicone, rubber, or wooden spatulas to avoid scratching the non-stick surface. Metal utensils can damage the coating.
This product comes with a 5-year PME warranty.
While designed for cakes, you can also use it for small brownies, muffins, or even frozen desserts, provided the recipe is suitable for the mould's size and material.
Ensure the mould was properly greased and floured, or sprayed, before adding batter. Check that the non-stick coating is not damaged. Allow cakes to cool slightly in the tin before attempting to remove them.
Verify that your oven temperature is accurate. Ensure the batter is distributed evenly among the cavities. Avoid overcrowding the oven, and consider rotating the baking sheet halfway through the baking time.
Cease using metal utensils or abrasive cleaning tools. Hand wash only with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. If the damage is significant, it may be time to replace the mould.
Setup: Before first use, wash the baking mould in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. For optimal results, lightly grease and flour each cavity, or use a baking spray, before adding your cake batter. Ensure the batter does not exceed the fill line of each cavity.
Compatibility: This mould is suitable for use in conventional ovens. It is made from carbon steel and is designed for baking applications.
Care: To maintain the non-stick properties and prolong the life of the mould, hand wash only using warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads, harsh detergents, or metal utensils, as these can scratch or damage the non-stick coating. After washing, dry the mould completely before storing it. It is not dishwasher safe.
