Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before the first use, rinse the pot thoroughly with warm water and perform two or three 'test' brews using water and old grounds to season the device. For daily use, ensure you fill the lower chamber with cold water just below the safety valve. Tighten the top chamber firmly before placing it on the heat source. Important: As this is an aluminium pot, never place it in the dishwasher, as this will cause oxidation and damage the finish. Simply rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly after each use. If your kitchen uses induction, you must purchase a separate induction adapter plate, as the aluminium base is not naturally magnetic.
