This listing is for a genuine Knott coupling with a heavy-duty cast hitch head that includes an integral lock. It can lock the trailer off the tow vehicle to prevent unauthorised coupling or lock the trailer to the tow vehicle to prevent unauthorised uncoupling. This is the KRV20 Model, commonly fitted to many lighting towers and boat trailers. It is designed for trailers with a gross weight between 1100kg and 2000kg and is suitable for fitting to an 80mm square box section drawbar. The coupling is compatible with standard 50mm tow balls and is supplied with a handle, pad, and clamp to fit a 48mm Jockey Wheel. It comes ready to fit with no assembly required and includes a pre-fitted secondary coupling cable and guide. This coupling is suitable for auto-reverse brake systems.
