This is a professional breakaway cable designed for commercial or occasional use with braked trailers and caravans. It features a hook and clevis pin end and is supplied as a 2-piece pack. This heavy-duty cable is essential for activating the trailer or caravan's brakes in the event of it decoupling from the towing vehicle, a legal requirement for all trailers with a braking system. It is recommended to carry a spare cable. One end has a clevis style fitting for attachment to the trailer's handbrake, and the other has a hook end for the towing vehicle.
