No, the high-density bristles are designed to be firm enough to clean but soft enough to avoid damaging the skin of standard produce like apples or cucumbers.
Replace the brush if you notice the bristles becoming frayed, bent, or if it no longer effectively removes debris from your produce.
Soak the brush in a mixture of warm water and mild dish soap, then scrub the bristles against each other and rinse thoroughly.
Ensure the handle is free from excess oil or food residue; rinse the handle under warm water to restore the non-slip texture.
This brush requires no assembly or complex setup; it is ready to use immediately upon unboxing. It is compatible with all types of fresh fruits and vegetables, from firm root crops to soft-skinned produce. To ensure the longevity of the tool and maintain kitchen hygiene, rinse the brush thoroughly under warm water after every use. Allow it to air dry completely before storing it in a dry, ventilated area to prevent moisture buildup within the bristles.
