The TIMCO Quick Fit Round Deadbolt (200418P) is an essential hardware solution for homeowners and professionals looking to streamline the installation of privacy locks on internal bathroom or WC doors. Its primary benefit is the innovative push-fit mechanism that eliminates the need for time-consuming chiseling, making it perfect for both new door setups and quick retrofits. While this deadbolt offers exceptional convenience and a modern silver nickel finish, it is specifically designed for light to medium-duty internal timber doors and should not be used on heavy-duty or external security entrance doors.

No, the product includes the deadbolt mechanism, strike plate, and screws. The turn and release set must be purchased separately.
No, this deadbolt is designed for standard internal timber doors and is not rated for fire door applications.
This deadbolt features a 57mm backset.
The deadbolt body itself is push-fit and requires no chiseling, but the strike plate may require a slight recess depending on the desired flush finish against the door frame.
No, this unit is specifically designed for a standard 5mm square spindle bathroom system.
The silver nickel finish is designed for internal use and offers good resistance to standard household humidity, but it is not intended for outdoor or marine environments.
Check if the lock is misaligned with the strike plate or if the hole in the door is slightly too small, creating internal friction.
Ensure the hole was drilled to the exact diameter recommended; if loose, use a small amount of wood filler or ensure the faceplate is properly secured to tighten the fit.
Installation requires a drill and a hole saw bit suitable for the lock body diameter. Ensure the door edge is clear of debris before inserting the unit. Once the deadbolt is pushed into the hole, secure the strike plate to the door frame using the provided screws.
Compatibility is focused on internal timber doors using 5mm square spindle systems. To maintain the finish, avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners; a soft, damp cloth is sufficient to keep the silver nickel surface clean and free of fingerprints. Periodically check that the screws on the strike plate remain tight to ensure smooth engagement of the bolt.
