FAQs

What material are the Rising Sun G10 SP darts made from?

These darts are crafted from premium high-density tungsten to ensure a slim profile and optimal weight distribution.

Is this dart suitable for beginners?

While high quality, the specific grip and balance of the G10 are tailored toward experienced players who have developed a consistent throwing technique.

How do I maintain the gold laser finish?

Simply wipe with a clean, dry cloth after use. Avoid contact with metallic surfaces or abrasive materials that could scratch the coating.

Are the points replaceable?

The SP (Steel Point) variant features high-performance points that can be replaced by a professional using a dedicated re-pointing tool.

Does the grip wear down quickly?

The sandblasted texture is durable, but like any precision dart, the lifespan depends on the frequency of play and how often the darts strike each other on the board.

What is the weight of this dart?

The Rising Sun G10 SP is available in specific professional weights; please check your specific packaging for the exact grammage.

Troubleshooting

Dart wiggling during flight

Check if your flight is securely inserted into the shaft; ensure the shaft is screwed tightly into the barrel.

Grip feeling less effective over time

Use a soft-bristled nylon brush to gently clear out any dust or debris trapped within the sandblasted grip grooves.

Shaft consistently coming loose

Use an O-ring at the base of the shaft thread to provide tension and prevent rotation during impact.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Exceptional traction due to the sandblasted rear grip
Aerodynamic barrel profile increases flight consistency
High-quality construction and professional finish
Distinct aesthetic inspired by racing performance

Cons

The aggressive grip texture can be abrasive for some players
Specific balance might not suit every throwing style
Premium design may require careful handling to maintain aesthetic finish

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For optimal results, pair these darts with your preferred length of shafts and standard flight shapes. Because the G10 features a precision-machined surface, avoid dropping these onto hard surfaces like stone or concrete, as it can damage the barrel's intricate cuts and texture. Regularly wipe the barrels with a soft, dry cloth to remove debris or skin oils from the sandblasted grip zones, which will keep the traction consistent. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbers, as these can strip the gold laser accents or degrade the refined finish of the tungsten.
