Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound. Measure and plan the layout carefully before installation.
- Cutting: If necessary, use appropriate tools to cut panels to the desired size. Measure twice, cut once to ensure accuracy.
- Mounting: Panels can be installed using a nail gun (ensure nails are appropriate for the panel thickness and wall type) or screws. For a seamless look, align panels edge-to-edge or with minimal gaps.
- Finishing: Ensure all edges are neatly finished if cut.
Compatibility:
The BRITWALL panel is designed for interior use. It is compatible with standard wall structures (e.g., drywall, plaster, wood studs) and can be mounted over existing finishes if the substrate is stable. Ensure the wall can support the weight of the panels.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the surface with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this can damage the laminate and felt.
- Maintenance: Periodically check that the panels remain securely fastened to the wall. Keep the area around the panels free from dust and debris.
