Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Placement: Position each mat on the step, ensuring it is flush with the edge and covers the step surface adequately.
- Alignment: Make sure the mats are aligned properly, so they appear straight and neat.
- Secure Fit: The mats should lay flat and make good contact with the steps for optimal grip and performance. Consider using double-sided tape or an adhesive for extra stability if required.
Compatibility
The JVL Lexi Rubber Step Mat is suitable for use on most outdoor steps. Ensure the steps are clean and free of debris before placing the mats. The mats are designed for use on flat surfaces and may not be suitable for steps with significant curvature or unusual shapes.
Care
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the mats by shaking them or hosing them down with water. For tougher stains, use mild soap and water.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the mats for any signs of wear and tear. Replace any mats that are damaged or no longer provide adequate grip.
- Winter Care: In areas with heavy snow or ice, clear the mats of snow and ice to maintain their slip-resistant properties.
