Product Information

Full details

This Shires Dutch gag features a Waterford mouthpiece, constructed from numerous links making it difficult for a horse to grip and pull against. The gag cheeks provide added leverage, and this bit can be considered severe. For sizes 5 inches and smaller, the cheeks are shorter to maintain proportion with the horse's head. Mouthpiece thickness is 18mm. Cheek height is 150mm for 4.5" and 5" sizes, and 180mm for 5.5" and 6" sizes.
