FAQs

Can these trays be used in the microwave?

Are the trays dishwasher safe?

To preserve the transparency and structural integrity of the plastic, we recommend hand washing only.

How many trays are included in the set?

Are the materials BPA-free?

The Zumart trays are designed for food storage and are made from durable, food-grade materials.

Can I use these for hot food?

These trays are best suited for room temperature or cold foods. Placing boiling hot items inside may cause the tray to deform.

What are the exact measurements?

Each tray measures 33.5cm in length, 24cm in width, and 6cm in height.

Troubleshooting

Lid does not snap on securely

Ensure that there are no crumbs or food particles caught in the rim of the tray base, as even small debris can prevent a proper seal.

Plastic appears cloudy after cleaning

Avoid using harsh detergents. Use a soft cloth with mild dish soap and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Lid is difficult to remove

Apply gentle upward pressure from one corner first rather than pulling from the center, which allows air to break the vacuum seal.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Secure locking lids ensure food stays fresh and safe during transport
Reusable material is more sustainable than single-use plastic options
Stackable design saves valuable counter and fridge space
Spacious 33.5cm x 24cm footprint handles large volumes of food
Ideal for both professional catering and home meal organization

Cons

Not intended for extreme long-term heavy-duty freezer storage
Requires manual hand washing to maintain the longevity of the plastic
Takes up significant cabinet space when not in use compared to nesting containers

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To get the most out of your Zumart Sandwich Platter Trays, ensure you hear an audible 'click' around the perimeter when securing the lid to the base. This confirms the seal is engaged.

Care Instructions:

Always wash trays and lids with warm, soapy water after each use.
Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals that may scratch the clear plastic surfaces.
Allow the items to air dry completely before stacking to prevent moisture buildup.
While the trays are reusable, they are not intended for use in an oven or microwave, as high heat may cause the plastic to warp.
