The Scheppach AB1900 Demolition Hammer is an ideal choice for contractors and serious DIY enthusiasts who need a heavy-duty tool for breaking through concrete, brick, and masonry. Its core strength lies in its powerful 1900W motor and 60 joules of impact energy, which dramatically reduces the time and effort required for demolition tasks; however, at 16.5kg, it is a substantial piece of equipment that requires careful handling during extended use.

Yes, but due to its high power and 16.5kg weight, it is best suited for floor or foundation work rather than precision indoor demolition.
Yes, the product is typically supplied with necessary accessories, but always check your specific package contents.
You can use an extension cord, but ensure it is heavy-duty and rated for the high wattage of the 1900W motor to prevent voltage drops.
Regular maintenance including checking carbon brushes and lubrication should be performed according to the user manual or after heavy-duty project cycles.
Always wear eye protection, ear defenders, a dust mask, and heavy-duty work gloves to protect against debris and vibration.
The AB1900 requires a standard mains electrical connection compatible with its voltage and power consumption specifications.
Check the chisel attachment for proper seating in the chuck and ensure the tool is connected to a stable power supply.
Verify that the chisel is not jammed in the workpiece and check the lubricant levels in the gear housing.
Check that the handles are securely tightened and inspect the anti-vibration dampers for damage.
To set up the unit, ensure the chisel is securely locked into the tool holder before connecting it to a power source. When changing accessories, always disconnect the plug from the mains to prevent accidental activation. The tool is compatible with standard industrial-grade hex shanks. For long-term care, regularly inspect the carbon brushes for wear and ensure the impact mechanism is adequately lubricated according to the manual. Keep the ventilation slots clear of dust and debris to prevent the 1900W motor from overheating. Always store the tool in its provided wheeled case in a dry, cool environment, and ensure the cable is not kinked or frayed before each use.
