This set of 2 ATEK Drywall Plasterboard Lifter Acrow Easy Props Support is designed for DIY builders and professionals needing to securely hold plasterboard during installation. Its key benefit is providing stable, hands-free support for large panels, reducing strain and improving accuracy. A potential caveat is the need for two props for optimal stability, especially with larger boards. Features include a telescopic rod for adjustable height, a sturdy metal frame, and a plasterboard carrier.

The product description does not specify a maximum weight capacity, but they are designed for standard plasterboard and drywall sheets. For unusually heavy materials, additional support may be necessary.
Yes, the props are sold as a set of two and are intended to be used in pairs for balanced and secure support of plasterboard panels.
While primarily designed for plasterboard, they can potentially be used to support other rigid materials of similar size and weight, provided they can be securely held by the carrier and the surface is stable.
The props are extendable from a minimum of 115cm to a maximum of 290cm.
The props are made of metal and are best stored in a dry environment to prevent rust. While they can be used outdoors temporarily, long-term exposure to moisture is not recommended.
To adjust the height, unlock the mechanism, extend or retract the telescopic rod to the desired length, and then securely lock it in place.
Check the telescopic mechanism for any obstructions or debris. Clean the inner and outer tubes. If damage is suspected, do not use.
Ensure the prop is locked securely at the desired height. Verify that the base is on a firm, level surface. Check that the prop is positioned vertically. Use two props for adequate support.
Ensure the board is positioned correctly on the carrier. Check for any debris on the carrier surface that might be preventing contact. The carrier is designed for light friction; ensure the prop is holding the board firmly against the mounting surface.
Apply a small amount of lubricating spray to the locking parts. Operate the mechanism several times to distribute the lubricant. Ensure the prop is not under excessive pressure when attempting to lock.
