FAQs
What are the dimensions of the Apollo Flat Iron Fruit Basket?
The dimensions are 25cm in length, 25cm in width, and 12cm in height.
How does the open design benefit fruit?
The open flat iron design allows air to circulate around all sides of the fruit, which helps to keep it fresh longer and prevents premature spoilage by reducing moisture buildup.
Can I put small berries in this basket?
The open design is suitable for most common fruits. However, very small items like individual berries might shift or fall through the gaps. It is best suited for larger fruits or fruits that are still attached to stems.
Is the basket dishwasher safe?
No, the Apollo Flat Iron Fruit Basket is not dishwasher safe. It should be wiped clean with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly.
What material is the basket made of?
The basket is constructed from flat iron.
What is the colour of the basket?
The basket comes in a black finish.
Can this basket be used for vegetables?
Yes, it can be used for storing and displaying vegetables that benefit from air circulation, such as potatoes or onions.
Troubleshooting
Basket wobbles or is unstable.
Ensure the fruit basket is placed on a completely flat and level surface. Check for any debris or unevenness on the surface or the base of the basket.
Fruit seems to be ripening too quickly.
While the basket promotes air circulation, individual fruit ripening can still occur. Try to consume fruit regularly and store particularly fast-ripening items separately if needed.
Scratches appear on the basket surface.
Avoid using harsh cleaning materials or placing sharp objects directly into the basket. Clean gently with a damp cloth.
