Troubleshooting
Bin lid does not close quietly.
Ensure the lid is properly seated on the bin mechanism. Check for any obstructions preventing the smooth closing action. If the issue persists, the internal closing mechanism may require inspection.
Step pedal is stiff or unresponsive.
Check for any debris or obstruction around the pedal and hinge mechanism. Ensure the inner bucket is not interfering with the pedal's movement. Try gently working the pedal to loosen it.
Bin or brush shows signs of rust or discoloration.
This is uncommon with powder-coated steel. Ensure the product is dried thoroughly after cleaning and is not exposed to prolonged moisture or harsh chemicals. Clean affected areas gently with a soft cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately.
Inner bucket is difficult to remove.
Ensure there are no sharp objects or excess waste preventing the smooth lifting action. Check that the bin liner is not caught on the bucket handles or the outer bin rim.
