Product Information

Full details

The Cult Tackle DPM Quick Cradle is an essential tool for mobile anglers who prioritize efficient fish care without the burden of heavy equipment. This cradle is designed for those who need to safely handle, unhook, and photograph their catch quickly and securely. Its primary advantage is the rapid-deployment frame that sets up in seconds, though users should note that its lightweight construction is optimized for portability rather than use in extremely high-wind conditions or on highly uneven terrain.

FAQs

Is this cradle suitable for large carp?

The cradle is designed to provide adequate protection for standard specimen sizes; however, ensure the fish is positioned centrally to maximize safety.

Does it come with a carry bag?

Yes, the product includes a dedicated carry bag as part of the total weight package.

How heavy is the cradle exactly?

The total weight including the bag and pegs is under 2kg.

Can I leave the cradle out in the sun?

It is recommended to keep the cradle in the shade when not in use to extend the life of the fabric and padding.

Are the pegs included in the weight?

Yes, the sub-2kg weight specification accounts for the cradle, the bag, and the pegs.

How do I remove the inner mat?

The mat is designed to be easily detached from the frame; simply unfasten the securing points to remove it for cleaning.

Troubleshooting

Frame feels loose after unfolding

Ensure all joints are fully locked into position and the base is resting flat on the ground.

Cradle shifts during use

Always use the provided pegs in the anchor points, even on soft ground, to secure the structure.

Stains on the mat

Use a mild soap and a soft brush to scrub the removable mat, then rinse thoroughly and air dry.

Pros and Cons

Cons

Care Instructions

Cleaning: Remove the inner mat and rinse with fresh water after each session to prevent odor buildup and bacterial growth.
Drying: Ensure the cradle is completely dry before packing it away in its carry bag to prevent mold or mildew.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct, harsh sunlight when not in use to maintain the integrity of the fabric.
