Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Ensure the floor surfaces meeting at the threshold are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or debris. A thorough vacuuming and wiping with a dry cloth is recommended.
- Measure and cut the threshold strip to the required length using an appropriate metal saw if necessary. Ensure cuts are clean and smooth.
- Peel back a portion of the self-adhesive backing.
- Carefully align the strip with the joint or gap between the floor surfaces.
- Press down firmly, starting from the center and working outwards, to ensure full contact and adhesion.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before exposing to heavy foot traffic.
Compatibility:
This threshold strip is designed for use with:
- Laminate flooring
- Wood flooring
- Vinyl flooring
- Similar floor types where a transition strip is needed.
It is suitable for joining surfaces of similar heights or where one surface is slightly lower than the other, provided the gap is within the trim's coverage.
Care:
- Clean the strip with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the walnut effect finish.
- Regularly check the adhesion, especially in high-traffic areas, and re-press if any lifting occurs.
