FAQs

Are these cushions waterproof?

The polyester covers are wipe-clean and resistant to light moisture, but they are not fully waterproof. It's recommended to bring them indoors or cover them during heavy rain or prolonged wet conditions to protect the filling and extend their lifespan. Info needed: [specific water resistance rating, if any].

What are the exact dimensions of each cushion?

Each cushion measures 196 cm in length (L) by 55 cm in width (W). Please measure your outdoor lounger to ensure these dimensions are suitable.

How do I clean these cushions?

The covers can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. For more stubborn dirt or stains, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth and allowing it to air dry.

Do these cushions come in other colors?

Based on the product information provided, this specific set is in Grey. Other color variants are not specified.

How do the cushions attach to the lounger?

The cushions feature tie fastenings on the sides and a fixing band to help secure them firmly to your sun lounger, preventing them from slipping.

Can I use these cushions on chairs other than sun loungers?

While designed for sun loungers, you could potentially use them on other long outdoor seating if the dimensions (196L x 55Wcm) are a close match. However, the tie and band placement is optimized for lounger frames.

What materials are used for the cushion?

The outer cover is made from 240g/㎡ breathable polyester fabric, and the filling consists of thick cotton for comfort.

Troubleshooting

Cushion slips off the lounger or bunches up.

Ensure all tie fastenings are securely knotted around the lounger frame. If a fixing band is present, make sure it is stretched taught around the appropriate part of the lounger to prevent movement.

Cushion appears flat or lumpy after prolonged use.

The cotton filling may settle over time. Fluff up the cushion vigorously by patting and shaking it. This helps redistribute the filling evenly and restore its loft.

Stains or dirt on the cushion cover.

Immediately wipe the affected area with a clean, damp cloth. For more persistent stains, use a mild soap solution on the cloth, then wipe with a fresh damp cloth to remove any soap residue. Air dry thoroughly.

Cushion does not fit my lounger properly.

The cushions are sized at 196L x 55Wcm. If it doesn't fit, it's likely your lounger's dimensions differ. Please measure your lounger carefully against the product specifications to confirm compatibility. This product is designed for standard sun loungers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Enhanced Comfort: Thick cotton filling significantly improves the lounging experience.
  • Quick Aesthetic Update: Instantly refreshes the appearance of outdoor loungers.
  • Secure Fit: Ties and fixing band ensure cushions stay in place, even with movement.
  • Simple Cleaning: Wipe-clean polyester covers make maintenance hassle-free.
  • Set of Two: Provides a complete solution for a pair of loungers or as a spare.

Cons

  • Specific Dimensions: Requires users to measure their loungers carefully to ensure compatibility (196L x 55Wcm).
  • Limited Color Options: Currently only available in Grey, which may not suit all outdoor decor schemes.
  • Lounger Specific: Primarily designed for sun loungers, limiting versatility on other types of outdoor furniture.
  • Not Fully Weatherproof: While wipe-clean, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or harsh sun may require protective storage.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the cushions from their packaging.
  2. Position: Place one cushion onto your sun lounger, ensuring it covers the full length and width of the seating area.
  3. Secure Ties: Locate the tie fastenings on the sides of the cushion. Thread these ties around the frame of your lounger and tie them securely in a bow or knot.
  4. Attach Fixing Band: If present, stretch the fixing band (often at the back or middle) around a part of the lounger frame to further prevent slippage.
  5. Adjust: Lightly pat and adjust the cushion to ensure even distribution of the filling and a perfect fit on your lounger.

Compatibility

  • These cushions are specifically designed for outdoor sun loungers.
  • Each cushion measures 196L x 55Wcm. It is crucial to measure the length and width of your sun lounger's seating surface *before* purchase to ensure a correct and comfortable fit. These dimensions may not be suitable for wider recliners or smaller patio chairs.

Care & Maintenance

  • Cleaning: The polyester covers are designed for easy maintenance. Simply wipe clean any spills or dirt using a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean damp cloth.
  • Drying: Allow the cushions to air dry completely after cleaning, away from direct sunlight, to prevent mildew.
  • Storage: While suitable for outdoor use, to prolong the life and appearance of your cushions, it is highly recommended to store them indoors or cover them during periods of heavy rain, snow, or harsh sunlight. This protects the fabric from prolonged exposure to UV damage and moisture.
