The Bluecol Jump Starter Leads are designed for motorists who need a reliable, heavy-duty solution for restarting vehicles with dead batteries. Ideally suited for petrol engines up to 2500cc, these leads provide a dependable connection during emergency roadside situations. While these leads offer robust performance and safety insulation, users must exercise caution with modern vehicles equipped with sensitive electronic systems like satellite navigation or DVD players, which may require specific manufacturer protocols to avoid electrical damage.

These leads are rated for petrol engines up to 2500cc. Please check your vehicle's manual or battery requirements before use on diesel engines.
Yes, but you must strictly follow your vehicle's handbook instructions, as some modern electronic systems require specific protection procedures.
Always connect the negative clamp to a suitable earthing point on the chassis or engine block, away from the battery and fuel system.
It is recommended to wait three minutes after connecting the leads to allow the voltages to equalise.
If leads become excessively hot, disconnect immediately, as this may indicate a poor connection or an electrical short.
Verify that all terminal connections are tight and free of corrosion, then ensure the earthing point used for the black lead is clean metal.
Reposition the donor vehicle closer to the recipient vehicle to reduce the distance between batteries.
Before initiating a jump start, always verify that both vehicles share the same system voltage. Consult your vehicle's handbook prior to use, particularly if your car includes complex electronics like satellite navigation or integrated entertainment systems, as these components can be sensitive to power surges. When attaching leads, ensure the black lead is connected to an earthing point away from the fuel system to minimize fire risk. After use, inspect the leads for any signs of wear or insulation fraying, and store them in a dry, cool place to prevent corrosion of the metal clamps.
