Product Information

Full details

The Outdoor Revolution Pronto Compact 4 Windbreak is designed for camping enthusiasts and beachgoers who need a reliable, high-performance privacy shield without the bulk of traditional setups. Its primary benefit is the innovative pop-up system that allows for near-instant deployment, providing immediate protection from wind, sun, and sand in seconds. While its 120HDE fabric is exceptionally robust, users should be aware that it occupies a specific footprint when fully extended, requiring adequate space for effective anchoring on uneven or sandy ground.

What material is the windbreak made from?

It is constructed from 120HDE high-density polyester.

Does it come with a storage bag?

Yes, it includes a convenient carry bag for easy transport and compact storage.

Is the fabric waterproof?

Troubleshooting

Windbreak feels unstable in high wind

Ensure all bungee peg points are fully extended and anchored at a 45-degree angle to provide maximum tension.

Keder strip is difficult to slide into the awning rail

Check the rail for debris or dents; apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the rail track to ease insertion.

Pole folding mechanism feels stiff

Clean any sand or grit from the joints and ensure the fabric is not caught in the hinge before attempting to fold.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely fast assembly time
Compact folding design for easy transport
High-density fabric resists weather damage
Compatible with standard awning rails
Stable construction with bungee tensioning

Cons

Requires sufficient space for full four-panel deployment
Not intended for extreme storm conditions
Needs careful cleaning to maintain water-resistant coating

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: remove the unit from the carry bag, unfold the pop-up frame, and secure the base using the provided bungee peg points. If attaching to a caravan or campervan, slide the keder strip directly into the awning rail before pegging down the outer panels. For care, keep the fabric dry whenever possible. If the windbreak is packed away while wet, unfold it as soon as you return home to allow the 120HDE polyester to air dry completely, which prevents mold and mildew. Wipe the poles with a damp cloth if they accumulate sand or debris to ensure the folding mechanism continues to operate smoothly.
