Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unpack the monitor, stand, and accessories.
- Attach the stand to the monitor panel following the included instructions.
- Connect your computer or docking station using the provided USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, HDMI, or DisplayPort cable.
- Connect the power cable and turn on the monitor.
- If using USB-C, ensure your laptop supports power delivery and display over USB-C.
- Adjust the stand to your preferred ergonomic position.
Compatibility:
This monitor is compatible with most modern computers and operating systems that support:
- DisplayPort 1.4
- HDMI 1.4
- USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode and USB Power Delivery (up to 96W).
Care:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to clean the screen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or an approved screen cleaner. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the screen.
- Ventilation: Ensure the monitor's ventilation slots are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Power: Use only the provided power cable. Unplug the monitor during electrical storms or when unused for extended periods.
- Firmware Updates: Utilize the Dell Display and Peripheral Manager software for streamlined and silent firmware updates, typically requiring only 2-3 minutes.
