The Bosch EXPERT Multi Material Diamond Cutting Disc is designed for construction professionals and contractors who frequently cut hard materials like concrete, brick, and roofing tiles. Its primary benefit is extreme longevity, offering up to four times the lifespan of standard diamond discs thanks to advanced diamond grit matrix technology. One caveat users should note is that while it is highly durable for hard materials, it requires a compatible angle grinder with a 22.23mm bore to operate safely and effectively.

This disc is specifically engineered for mineral-based construction materials like brick, concrete, and roofing tiles; it is not intended for metal cutting.
The disc has a standard bore size of 22.23mm.
This disc is designed for dry cutting, though it performs well in varied conditions provided the grinder is rated for the environment.
The 12mm segment height provides a larger amount of diamond-impregnated material, which directly contributes to the disc's significantly longer lifespan.
It is compatible with all standard angle grinders that accept a 180mm disc with a 22.23mm bore.
The diamond segments may have become glazed. Cut into a slightly abrasive material like a sandstone block to expose new diamond grits.
Ensure the disc is properly seated on the flange and the locking nut is tightened securely. Check if the disc has been dropped or damaged.
Ensure you are using the correct speed for your grinder and allow the disc to rotate freely for a few seconds to cool down between deep cuts.
To install the disc, ensure the power source to your angle grinder is disconnected. Remove the outer locking nut and backing flange. Place the disc onto the spindle, ensuring the bore aligns perfectly with the mount. Secure the locking nut firmly. Always verify that the disc rotation arrow matches the directional rotation of your grinder.
For care, avoid applying excessive side pressure during a cut, as this can stress the segments. After heavy use, inspect the disc for signs of overheating or segment damage. Keep the blade clean of debris to ensure the dust-removal flutes remain unobstructed. Always store the disc in a dry, temperate environment to prevent oxidation on the steel body.
