Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Place the sandwich maker on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- The indicator light will illuminate, showing it is preheating.
- Wait for the preheat indicator light to turn off (approximately 2 minutes), signaling it's ready.
Compatibility:
This appliance is designed for standard sliced bread and fillings. Ensure fillings are not excessively thick to allow the sandwich maker to close properly. Avoid using large or unusually shaped bread slices.
Care:
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the non-stick cooking plates with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not use abrasive scouring pads or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the non-stick coating.
- Wipe the exterior of the sandwich maker with a damp cloth.
- Ensure the appliance is dry before storing.
