Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your plants thrive, plant them in a sunny location with soil that drains freely. Avoid heavy clay soils that retain excess water, as this can hinder root development. When planting, dig a hole twice the width of the 9cm pot and mix in some compost to give them a strong start. Water them thoroughly after planting and keep the soil moist but not waterlogged during their first growing season. To maintain vigor, remove faded flower spikes once they begin to brown; this energy-saving practice encourages the plant to focus on developing new blooms rather than setting seed.
