Designed for professional contractors, landscapers, and serious DIYers, these 600mm timber pegs are ideal for site layout, anchoring, and temporary outdoor construction projects. The primary advantage of these pegs is their superior holding strength and ease of penetration into various soil types, though users should note that they are intended for outdoor utility rather than decorative finish work.

Yes, their pressure-treated nature makes them suitable for ground contact, though expect natural degradation over many years depending on soil acidity.
The coarse texture allows for a simple 'clove hitch' or a double wrap around the top portion of the peg.
Yes, the 600mm length provides sufficient surface area to gain grip in looser soils.
No, they arrive pressure-treated and ready for immediate outdoor use.
Yes, they can be easily shortened using a standard hand saw or power saw.
Use a pilot hole using a steel spike or rebar to create a path before inserting the timber peg.
Extract the peg, fill the resulting hole with soil or gravel, and re-drive the peg at a slight angle to correct the vertical alignment.
Installation requires only a standard club hammer or a rubber mallet. When driving the pegs into very dry or rock-heavy soil, avoid using excessive force directly on the center to prevent mushrooming the top of the wood; using a flat-faced striking tool is recommended. While they are pressure-treated, avoid submerging them in standing water permanently to extend their service life. If you are reusing the pegs, inspect the chamfered points for excessive fraying before subsequent installations.
