Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation of the Triton Perea Electric Shower requires a dedicated electrical circuit and should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current IET wiring regulations. Ensure the electrical supply is adequate for the shower's power rating (9.5kW).
Compatibility: This is an electric shower, meaning it heats water on demand and does not connect to a hot water system. It is compatible with standard UK water mains pressure. Ensure your home's electrical system can support the power requirement.
Care: To maintain the shower's performance and appearance:
- Shower Head: Regularly clean the rub-clean nozzles by gently rubbing them with a cloth to dislodge any limescale or debris.
- Exterior Surfaces: Wipe down the shower unit, riser rail, and hose with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the finish.
- Phased Shutdown: Ensure the shower is allowed to complete its phased shutdown cycle after each use.
- Annual Check: It is recommended to have the shower and its electrical connections inspected annually by a qualified professional.
