Troubleshooting
Plush seems flat or misshapen after unpacking
Gently fluff and knead the plush by hand to redistribute the stuffing and restore its original shape. A light shake can also help.
Plush has a minor stain or dirt spot
Perform a spot clean. Dab the area with a cloth dampened with cold water and a small amount of mild, baby-safe soap. Gently blot dry with a clean towel and allow to air dry completely.
Plush feels less soft over time
Avoid frequent washing. If cleaning is necessary, always spot clean gently. Exposure to heat or harsh detergents can affect softness. Regular gentle brushing with a soft brush can also help maintain texture.
Loose thread appears on the plush
Carefully trim the loose thread with scissors. Do not pull the thread, as this could unravel stitching and cause further damage.

Care Instructions
To ensure your Pumbaa plush remains soft, cuddly, and in excellent condition:
- Spot Cleaning Recommended: For minor dirt or stains, gently spot clean the affected area using a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and cold water. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Air Dry Only: After cleaning, allow Pumbaa to air dry completely. Do not tumble dry, as this can damage the plush material and stitching.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Machine washing is generally not recommended for plush toys like Pumbaa, as it can deform the shape, clump the stuffing, and diminish the softness of the fabric.
- Regular Fluffing: Gently fluff Pumbaa periodically to maintain his shape and soft texture.
- Safety Check: Regularly inspect the plush for any loose seams or detached parts, especially if used by infants. While designed for safety, routine checks ensure continued peace of mind.
