FAQs
Can I choose which character I receive?
No, the character design for the KONG Cozie Naturals is chosen at random during the fulfillment process.
Is this toy machine washable?
It is recommended to hand wash the toy with mild soap and allow it to air dry to preserve the integrity of the seams and the internal squeaker.
Is this safe for puppies?
Yes, its soft texture is great for puppies, but you should always monitor them during play to ensure they do not ingest any torn fabric pieces.
What should I do if my dog swallows a piece of the toy?
If you suspect your dog has ingested a piece of the toy, contact your veterinarian immediately.
Is this a durable chew toy?
No, this is a soft plush toy designed for play and comfort, not a chew-resistant toy for heavy mastication.
Troubleshooting
The squeaker has stopped working
The squeaker is an internal component that can be damaged by pressure or moisture; if it stops, the toy can still be used as a comfort item or for light fetch.
My dog is tearing the fabric quickly
The Cozie Naturals are intended for light play; if your dog is a heavy chewer, this toy is not the correct match and should be removed to prevent accidental ingestion of stuffing.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extra layer of material adds durability
- Low-fill design minimizes household mess
- Includes a squeaker to encourage interaction
- Soft texture makes it an excellent comfort toy
Cons
- Not suitable for aggressive or heavy chewers
- Character design is chosen at random and cannot be selected
- Small size may pose a choking hazard for large breed dogs
Setup, Compatibility & Care
No setup is required for the KONG Cozie Naturals; simply remove the tag and introduce the toy to your pet. This toy is compatible with small dog breeds who exhibit light to moderate play behaviors. To maintain the toy, inspect it regularly for signs of wear or loose seams. If the fabric begins to fray significantly, it should be removed and replaced to prevent ingestion. Hand wash with mild soap and air dry to keep the plush material clean.
