The Snowdon Timber PVC Tile Trim in white is designed for DIY enthusiasts and professional tilers looking to achieve a crisp, professional finish on kitchen and bathroom tiling projects. It serves as an essential tool for protecting exposed tile edges while creating seamless transitions between surfaces, though users should note that the white PVC finish is best suited for clean, modern aesthetic palettes and may require precise cutting to ensure tight corner joints.

While the PVC material is moisture-resistant, it is intended primarily for interior tiling projects such as bathrooms and kitchens.
The trim comes in a finished white state. Painting is not recommended as standard paints may not adhere well to the PVC surface.
A fine-tooth hacksaw or a miter box is recommended to achieve clean, straight, or angled cuts.
The trim is held in place by the same tile adhesive used to install your wall tiles, sandwiched between the tile and the substrate.
This trim is primarily designed for wall edges. Using it on floors is not recommended as foot traffic may cause the PVC to crack or shift.
Ensure that the tile adhesive bed behind the trim flange is even and that the trim is pressed firmly into place during installation.
Verify that your mitre cuts are exactly 45 degrees. If small gaps exist, use a small amount of white silicone sealant to fill and blend the seam.
Installation is straightforward: measure the length of your tile edge and cut the trim to size. Apply a suitable tile adhesive or silicone sealant behind the trim flange before embedding it into the mortar bed alongside your tiles. Ensure the trim is level before the adhesive sets. For maintenance, simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads, as these can scratch the PVC finish and dull the appearance over time.
