An ultra-lightweight (53 g) and compact progress-capture pulley that is designed for rescue, the Petzl Nano Traxion features sealed ball bearings to deliver excellent efficiency (91%). The rope can pass in either direction, but when the toothed cam is deployed, the Nano Traxion becomes a one-way pulley made for crevasse rescue, hauling, and in emergencies, as an ascender. Safety is ensured as the toothed cam will grip wet, icy, and even muddy ropes. The sealed bearing within the pulley housing provides smooth use and ensures you can control the rope with ease. Sealed ball bearings, extremely lightweight and ultra-compact, rope installation diagrams engraved inside the pulley, locks even onto frozen or muddy ropes.
